Adopt Tony's Platoon
What started out as a plan to send one naval airman a Christmas package from S&H has snowballed into our year long project for 2009. We have made the decision to adopt the entire platoon, 64 men and women.
This platoon of naval airmen is currently serving in Kuwait at the Iraqi border. This is the fourth tour of duty for these sixty four dedicated men and women! S&H became acquainted with this fine group by way of Petty Officer, Second Class, Tony Stephens, serving with this platoon. Tony’s mom, Vanessa works at S&H Medical Management. S&H Medical Management has decided to adopt this deserving platoon for the next year.
However, today's tough economic conditions make it difficult for S&H Medical Management Services to meet those needs without help from people like you. S&H invites your business to donate an item or gift certificate for our next shipment. Our employees were able to supply each airman one of each item on their wish list in December, but we need help to keep the momentum going! Please contact us for a list of appropriate items.
All sponsors will be listed here on our company website in this special section devoted to the Adopt a Platoon project. All items will be donated by businesses like yours - as well as by members of S&H Medical Management Services, Inc., and other community members.

Relay For Life
From Helen: Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
We first walked to honor the courage of my mother who participated during her fight. We now walk to honor her memory. Our team earned $5,500.00 this past year.

Additionally this year, one of our employee's bands helped keep up the energy by playing for the relay walkers!
All Paws Rescue
From Brenda: I work with “All Paws Rescue”. I provide a “foster home” for homeless dogs. I work with the dog to help him/her rehabilitate and develop healthy “dog socialization” to overcome past hardships. I sometimes acquire my “fosters” by combing the highways and byways I travel, and other times I take in a dog that “All Paws Rescue” has identified as a challenging case in need of extra attention. I love to help a dog achieve his/her potential and move on in life to find a “forever home” and claim the status of the “treasured family dog”.
A Dan Kelley Christmas
From Dan: Starting in 2006, my band has put on a concert with other local rock bands getting together to play their take on Christmas songs. A high energy, family friendly rock show for a good cause: all the money we would make from the cover charge goes directly to an outreach center in north St. Louis County, aiding in their food pantry and homeless shelter. We also encourage everyone to bring canned goods, blankets and coats. This year, we filled a car with donations and sent nearly $1200 home with Otis, the man who runs the outreach center!!
